How many devices can I use?

Each TunnelBear account allows one person to connect to the TunnelBear network on up to 5 devices at a time. If you go over the 5 device limit for your account, you’ll receive a notification in the TunnelBear app and by email.

Each person will be able to connect up to 5 of their devices at any one time using their account.

If you've received a notice that you connected more than 5 devices on your account, you will not be able to connect a new device again for a couple of hours. To make room for new devices, first make sure to disconnect devices you do not wish to use. Logging in or trying to connect with additional devices without disconnecting these other devices will prolong the waiting period.

Once this period expires, you do not need to register the new device in any way. All you need to do is log in and connect. 

If you've received a notification that you've connected on more than 5 devices and you believe that someone else may be using your account, unfortunately the only solution is to change your password to ensure that you have exclusive access. To change your password, go here.
