If you have access to your network/router settings, we always recommend making sure that the ports TunnelBear uses to operate aren't being blocked.
Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android each have multiple VPN protocols with which to connect over. Each protocol has a different ports requirement.
- OpenVPN uses port 443.
Note: If a connection via port 443 is not successful, the application will try to connect using port 7011. - IKEv2/IPSec uses ports 500 and 4500.
- WireGuard currently uses port 51820.
